Average Approach = Average Results

Did you know, self-help is the largest section of most bookstores? Of course, everyone wants to “Achieve more…” its part of our “design.” More books are written about “Achievement,” more seminars are given and more sermons are preached on the subject than any other.

The results are negligible, according to a Census Bureau report. “At age 65, the established year of retirement, 77% need help or must continue to work. They are dependant on family, friends, or government to survive.” Yes, this includes Christians.

Even with all the millions of books, courses, seminars and sermons accessible, almost eight out of ten people still do not reach their goals by retirement. Why? Most material is written for groups of people. Some are really excellent, but because it is written for the “average participant” processing the subject matter, it is very limited.

Tell me this: How does a book, course or seminar know YOUR particular circumstances, God given gifts, personality, values or ability to comprehend the material taught? Whom do you ask questions? Who monitors your progress? How do you know you understand it correctly? Could you get much more from the same material?
